The Bishop Strachan School (BSS), like every educational institution, benefits from the energy and generosity of its volunteers to help create a warm and inclusive environment that strengthens the BSS community.

Among the first recipients of the BSS Volunteer Service Award, which honours parents and alumnae who have made a meaningful impact on the community through their volunteer work, our very own Jason Leung was awarded the BSS Volunteer Service Award!
As a Grade Representative, Senior School Coordinator, Buddy Program Coordinator and event volunteer, Jason received a surprising 40+ nominations from diverse community members to recognized his energetic, welcoming and helpful presence around campus. Just a few examples of Jason’s dedication included providing notary services to families of students travelling on global exchanges, organizing off-campus socials, coordinating and updating parent chats, connecting families with school staff, and volunteering in numerous capacities at events.
Congratulations, Jason!
