No magic wand, umbrellas only

June 18, 2016

Listen, just get out there. This is what Jason of LeungLaw spoke about at a recent Ontario Bar Association event about rainmaking. It's not about the razzle dazzle, or the need to impress. Leave that for the dating scene. He says to take a genuine interest in the people you meet. You might be surprised at how the stories they share can impact your practice indirectly and for the better. Whether it's seeing a common experience from a different perspective, or exchanging words of wisdom, you'll find there's no wizardry involved. To your surprise, these memorable encounters may end up as referrals to your business. No magic wand required, but keep your umbrella handy!
